DARJEELING PELLING GANGTOK
PackageDay 1: New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra - Darjeeling you are met and welcomed on your arrival at New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra and transferred to Dargeeling (94 Km/3hrs.) Check in the Hotel. Night halt at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling - Early Morning at (3.30am) start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effect on Mt. Kanchenjunga, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial on the way back to the hotel. (Breakfast is at the hotel followed by) full day local sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee the mall and the local Market. Night halt at Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling - Pemayangtse - Morning transfer to Pemayangtse (65 Kms/4.5 Hrs.) this is the nearest motorable point from Mr. Kanchenjunga, world's third highest peak. One can also enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayas range from the place. Evening tour to Pemayangtse monastery, the second oldest in Sikkim. Night halt at Pemayangtse.
Day 4: Pemayangtse - Yuksom - Morning transfer to Yuksom (32 Kms). enroute to Kanchenjunga Falls, Kenchodphelri Lake, Rimbi Falls. At Yukson, one can simply enjoy the scenic beauty of this beautiful Himalayan hill village. You can enjoy the walk around the Kartak Lake which is just in front of the Hotel. Tashi Gang Chorten is also worth viewing and indeed a memorable experience. Overnight at Yuksom. Night halt at Yuksom.
Day 5: Yuksom - Gangtok - Morning transfer to Gangtok. Enrouthe to Ravangala, evening free. Night halt at Gangtok.
Day 6: Gangtok Sightseeing - Morning start for full day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology and Roomtek monastery. Night halt at Gangtok.
Day 7: Tshongu Lake - Morning
depart for the Half day trip to Tshangu Lake (12.400 ft.), which is only 32 Km
from Gangtok. The evening is at your leisure. You can spend this free time shopping
for souvenirs and other knick - knacks to take back home. Night halt at Gangtok.
